Textbooks and Course Materials Refund Policy

Books and other course materials purchased at the beginning of a semester can be returned to the DCB Bookstore for a full refund during the first ten (10) days of the start of the semester. Students who are shipping items back must ship them by the 14th day of the semester.  Returned merchandise must be accompanied by either the original receipt or a copy of the receipt.  The items must be in the original condition.  New textbooks returned in used condition may, at the discretion of the bookstore manager, be refunded at the used price if the book will be used in subsequent semesters.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Digital books cannot be returned if the access code has been activated.  Lab kits cannot be returned if they have been opened or the code has been activated.  Buyback policy will apply if the items are not returned by the 10th day, or shipped within 14 days.

Credit card refunds require the card used for the original transaction.  Items purchased through student Campus Connection accounts must be refunded in the same manner.  Credits for returns will be processed through the Business Office.  Please allow a week for credits to apply to your Campus Connection account.
